Southern Great Plains (SGP) data:

• The first official version of SGP April 1996 cloud product data was made available on this server 21 April 1997. The visible calibration was determined using intercalibration with NOAA-14 AVHRR. The narrowband-broadband calibration based on a single equation derived from October 1986 ERBS and GOES-6 data was applied to compute shortwave albedos. The LW fluxes were derived with an April 1985 GOES-6/ERBS correlation.

Central Facility (CF) data:

• The first official version of CF April 1996 cloud product data was made available on this server 21 April 1997. Please see the corresponding explanation for the SGP data above.
